On Saturday, October 18th, I participated in a family constellations morning with Patricia and Marco. Although I have had previous experience with family constellations, I realize how valuable it is to continue doing this regularly and to be able to keep looking at what arises in daily life. This time, I didn’t bring anything of my own, but every constellation always touches something within yourself and brings new insights. The atmosphere was safe and familiar, which made me feel at ease. All in all, it was a valuable morning, and I will definitely come back again.

“Beforehand, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from a systemic constellation (it was my first time). Honestly, I was a bit skeptical, and that feeling persisted during the session. However, something happened that also impressed me; certain issues/patterns became visible that I hadn’t noticed before, and in the days that followed, it continued to resonate with me. “On March 8th, I attended the Systemic Family Constellations workshop with great pleasure and amazement, led by Patricia and Marco.
After a warm and informal welcome with coffee and tea in a cozy, peaceful, and bright space, we introduced ourselves. The plan for the afternoon was explained.
We began with a constellation exercise in the form of a practice round with three people. It seemed like things started moving immediately and automatically. After a short break with some nuts and chocolates to relax, we proceeded with a constellation involving the whole group.
The person starting the constellation briefly explained the situation, mentioning the family members involved. This person was guided by Patricia and Marco. The group represented the respective family members during the constellation (Representatives).
The guidance from Patricia and Marco felt calm, familiar, and supportive where needed.
For me, the constellation was very enlightening. The representatives provided insights into my relationship with my mother and daughter.
Where I was stuck and having difficulty understanding what was happening, my eyes were opened.
I felt, without many words but through body language, facial expressions, and the positions chosen by the representatives, where the issues lay.
Since then, it seems like something has truly changed in the relationships. It has relieved tension, as if something has shifted.
I had been curious for a while about what a constellation would bring, found it quite exciting, and had no specific expectations.
It is very special to experience so much happening, emotions surfacing, and quickly connecting with your feelings during a family constellation, clarifying things.
I felt completely at ease with Patricia and Marco. They, along with the group, helped me gain new insights and change patterns.”

In December 2023, our twins were born. It was quite an adjustment with our 4.5-year-old son and the twins at home. How to divide attention and manage time. We were short on hands.
Through a friend of ours, we got in touch with Patricia (her aunt). She had offered to come and help with the children. After a nice introduction, we agreed that she would come on Tuesdays to help with bathing the twins and picking up our son from school. On the days she helped, she also gave tips and was there mainly to help us find the peace to do it ourselves. Eventually, we started doing things step by step on our own and Patricia still comes by occasionally to see the children.”

Within my work as a psychotherapist, I have heard a lot about family constellations. I had never been a participant in a family constellation before.
