Domestic violence and child abuse reporting code
As a youth professional registered with the Youth Quality Register Foundation (SKJ), I am obliged to work in accordance with the Domestic Violence and Child Abuse Reporting Code.
This means that I am alert to signs of insecurity or abuse and, when necessary, act in accordance with the five-step plan of the reporting code. In doing so, I use the legally required assessment framework for youth professionals, as prescribed within my professional group.
If I have concerns about the safety of a child or adult, I discuss this with those involved wherever possible and involve them in the process. My goal is always to work together to find the right help and protection, in the best interests of the child.
More information about the reporting code can be found at: www.rijksoverheid.nl/meldcode
I am registered with SKJ under registration number 160033900.
